Two Year Courses
* Electrician
Electrician : This course over a 2-year period trains the candidate to carry on any electrical maintenance on both domestic and industrial installation and equipments and to work on single or three phase system, transformers, alternators, etc. On completion of the course the trainee shall have through knowledge of design and laying of wiring of domestic and commercial building. He shall have full knowledge of power generation, transmission and distribution system, insulators. earthing, power house, lighting arrestor, reactor, and capacitors in circuit used in electrical installation. Construction of different types of batteries and preparing electrolytes used in it. Servicing and repairing of table fan, ceiling fan, exhaust fan, hair dryer, mixer,motors, pump, generator, transformers and relays used in AC/DC circuit. He shall be able to, design prepare panel boards used for industries / workshop. Detect Fault in different types of AC and DC starter and motor timer used in factories and workshop and connect different types of measuring instrument on the panel boards. He shall be an expert in hand winding and machine winding of transformers, field coils of DC motors, rewinding of armature stator winding bell/Buzzer/NVC, OLC of DC starter.
